I'm a total sucker for romantic comedies, so The Wedding Date is naturally one of my all time favorites in this genre.
Debra Messing (who I love from Will & Grace), stars as Kat Eillis, who desperately needs a date with whom to attend her half-sister's wedding (played by Amy Adams). Dermot Mulroney is the suave and handsome Nick Mercer who finds himself escorting Kat to the UK, for this blessed event. Of course, all kinds of mishaps erupt along the way, as Kat tries to convince everyone that he really *is* her beau.
The movie also stars POTC actor Jack Davenport as the groom to Amy Adam's bride. I love him in this role as the clueless Ed!
Here is the trailer:
My favorite line:
Victor Ellis (Kat's step-dad): Where did you find him? Kat Ellis: The yellow pages.
LOL... this movie is awesome! Anyone else love it? If so, comment and discuss in this thread!
