After I read Percy Jackson's Greek Gods, I read the six other books I got for my birthday. The were Brotherband Chronicles, Book 4: Slaves of Socorro, by John Flanagan; I Am Number Four: The Lost Files: Hidden Enemy and The Revenge of Seven, both by Pittacus Lore; The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning, by Chris Colfer; William Shakespeare's The Jedi Doth Return, by Ian Doescher and an omnibus edition of the novelizations of the original Star Wars Trilogy.
I got 6 books for Christmas. I've already read two of them. They were The Heroes of Olympus, Book 5: The Blood of Olympus, by Rick Riordan, and Brotherband Chronicles, Book 5: Scorpion Mountain, by John Flanagan. I am now reading a book called Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography, by Neil Patrick Harris. It's Neil Patrick Harris' autobiography, but it's written in the style of of a Choose Your Own Adventure Book. I'm really enjoying it.

I haven't had the chance to read for pleasure in a long time, since work has been keeping my nose to the grindstone. Still, I managed to visit one of my favorite, local bookstores yesterday, and found a new fantasy book called The Cats Of Tanglewood Forest by Charles De Lint. It is beautifully illustrated and a captivating story about a young girl called Lillian Kindred who is transformed into a kitten and has a magical and perilous adventure in Tanglewood Forest. I'm definitely enjoying the read so far. ~Shaliza

After I finished reading Neil Patrick Harris: Choose Your Own Autobiography, I read a book called Nightmares! That book was written by Neil Patrick Harris' How I Met Your Mother co-star, Jason Segel. When I finished with that book, I am now reading A Dance With Dragons, by George R.R. Martin. This is the fifth book in the A Song of Ice and Fire saga.

Right now I am reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini (author of The Kite Runner). I do recommend it.

I'm currently reading The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman. It's a young adult novel which features the Grimm fairy tales and hair raising adventures involving 4 teens. I am definitely loving the exciting read so far. ~Shaliza

I've been reading the Walker Island Romance series by Lucy Kevin... they're enjoyable but not the best series I've ever read. She also writes as Belle Andre (which I think is her real name) and I prefer some of those later works.

I'm currently reading Les Miserables by Victor Hugo, and I plan to start reading the Game of Thrones series when I finish. My time for reading for pleasure is limited, but I also intend to read more books by Jane Austen and any classics I can find (no matter how long it takes me).

After a long absences from the library and now all the time in the world to read? I'm reading "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes." By Annette Funicello. It's quite interesting reading about her life as a Mouseketeer, and her Beach movies with Frankie Avalon.
I'm also reading, "Look Me In The Eye." By John E. Robison. He has Aspberegers, and I picked it up to see if I could understand how a person with Aspbergers thinks. I have a relative with this condition and I'm hoping understanding how he communicates. I might be able to understand him better.

I've started reading Summon the Keeper by Tanya Huff... enjoying it so far
I love her Blood series, which was made into a short lived tv show called Blood Ties, she has a great style and uses a lot of humour.

I'm reading Enthusiasm by Polly Shulman. I love how the protagonist is a Jane Austen fan, and how the book plays homage to Pride and Prejudice. ~Shaliza

That sounds like my sort of thing, I'll stick it on my (very long) to read list! You might like Victoria Connelly's Austen Addicts series too.
I've been listening to the audiobook of Amanda Palmer's The Art Of Asking... I'd highly recommend it, especially the audio version which she reads herself and has little intermissions of her music. It's a very honest, very personal account of her life as an artist.

Wow! It's been quite a while since I posted in this thread. It took me longer than I had anticipated to finish reading A Dance With Dragons, by George R.R. Martin. I mean, I started reading the book in February, but I didn't finish it until May. After finishing A Dance With Dragons, I read another book by George R.R. Martin, called The Ice Dragon. I then read Paper Towns, by John Green. That was followed by William Shakespeare's The Phantom of Menace, by Ian Doescher. That was followed by Survivors: Storm of Dogs, and Survivors: Tales From the Packs, both by Erin Hunter. When I finished those books, I read three books by James Dashner, called The Scorch Trails, The Death Cure and The Kill Order. (The Scorch Trails and The Death Cure were direct sequels to The Maze Runner, while The Kill Order was a prequel.) I ended the summer by reading another book by John Green, this one called Looking for Alaska.
As you might know, I recently celebrated my 25th birthday. I got 10 books for my birthday. The first of those book I read was called Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes, by Rick Riordan. (It's the follow-up to Percy Jackson Greek Gods, which I read last year.) I'm now reading The Land of Stories: Beyond the Kingdoms, by Chris Colfer, which is the fourth book in the series.
