OK, so I've been hearing all kinds of rumors about the new Supergirl TV series that will premiere on CBS this fall.
The premise seems very promising, and from what I can tell, it seems to be reminiscent of the way Lois and Clark functioned as a romantic comedy as well as fantasy series for this iconic couple.
Here's the first look at the series:
Looks like Callista Flockhart will be playing the one and only Cat Grant, Kara's boss, and Jimmy Olsen will be in this too.
On the one hand, I'm glad that Supergirl will finally get some screen time, and her own series. OTOH, the portrayal of Kara seems very juvenile and teeny-bopperish, so I don't know whether it will be a success, or a huge flop.
Either way, I'm willing to withhold judgement until I see the pilot this fall.
So... any thoughts? Let's get the discussion going in here!

It's been successful so far, and I honestly think it's getting better with each new episode. They still have problems with subtlety and hammering you over the head with messages, but it isn't the first show to have that problem. At this point I feel if they resolved the love triangle and focused more on the superhero aspect (and improve some of the writing and the fighting, which they're starting to) then it'll be perfect. Because everything on the superhero side of the show have been great. I can't wait for the Flash/Supergirl crossover at the end of March.
