I noticed there was no thread to discuss sitcoms, so I thought I'd start one.
I like The Golden Girls, Full House, Big Bang Theory, The Facts Of Life, Diff'rent Strokes, Charles In Charge, Family Matters, Married With Children, Mork and Mindy, Three's Company, Friends, Seinfeld, The Brady Bunch, California Dreams, Saved By The Bell, The Black Adder, Mr. Bean, Who's The Boss, Growing Pains and Family Ties. (Though I haven't seen the last few in a while).
Anyway, anyone else want to share?

Nice idea for a thread, Disney! My favorite sitcom of all time, is Will and Grace. It was hilarious, and incredibly witty. I still miss the show since it ended. If there are any W&G fans here, please come post in the thread I made for this show. I also like many of the sitcoms you already mentioned, Disney. I totally LOVE The Golden Girls, Charles in Charge, Saved By The Bell, Family Matters and Who's The Boss. I've seen Friends off and on, but wasn't really hooked on it like some of the others. As a kid, I totally loved Diff'rent Strokes, Facts of Life and Mork and Mindy too. I also like Mind Your Language which is a British comedy series about an English professor who has to teach a bunch of foreign students. Some feel that the show was very racist since it portrayed a lot of Asian and Middle Eastern stereotypes, but as a kid, all that went way over my head, and I enjoyed it for the humorous stories it presented every week. Another British sitcom that I adore, is 'Allo 'Allo. It had a lot of M-rated and crude humor, but it is beyond hilarious, and I will still watch it when I get the chance. Basically, the premise is a French Cafe that is the headquarters for the resistance during WW II. You have an innkeeper (Rene) and his wife and all their comrades in crime as they assist the British airmen hiding in their establishment. Rene also has the additional challenge of keeping his affairs with the waitresses a secret from his wife, while giving into the demands of the German troops who have taken over the city. The hijinks that ensue have me laughing till I cry, and it is beyond brilliant. Who's next? ~Shaliza

I forgot to mention The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
I was the same as you with Friends, Shaliza, but it's been re-running on TV in Israel and I enjoy watching it when I have the time now more than I used to. I hope someday I have the chance to watch the whole series all the way through.
I also remember I enjoyed Harry and the Hendersons, though I don't remember it that well. I kind of liked Kirk and Two of a Kind when they started airing, but towards the end they kind of lost their charm IMHO.

^ Oh yeah, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is one of my favorites too. The whole cast was amazing! I also love Full House, and will still watch it on and off because it plays on Nick at Night on weekdays for me. I really like the older sitcoms than the ones we have on TV right now. I've never been able to get into current shows like Two Broke Girls, and How I Met Your Mother. ~Shaliza

I loved Friends. Big Bang Theory is a favorite now. I LOVED Parks and Recreation. And I like The Mindy Project. Cheers and Frasier were funny too. And I loved The Office.

^ Nice to see you chiming in, K! Yay for another W&G fan too. Feel free to post in the thread I made for this sitcom too. I totally forgot to mention California Dreams in my previous posts. I definitely loved the concept, and the music was lovely. ~Shaliza

Shaliza, I generally agree with younthe older sitcoms are more appealing than today's sitcoms, though Big Bang Theory is an exception with me. Another older show I'd like to mention is Murphy Brown. I didn't follow it regularly, but the little of it I did see I liked.
Does the simpsons count as a sitcom? I liked the early seasons but after a while I felt it was losing its appeal.

^ Yay for another 'Allo 'Allo fan! Also, I had no idea that there was a British version of Who's the Boss? I will definitely have to check it out, sometime. Does the simpsons count as a sitcom? I liked the early seasons but after a while I felt it was losing its appeal. According to Wikipedia, Simpsons is considered an animated sitcom. I didn't really watch it, but the bits and pieces I did see didn't appeal to me. It was a really popular series though, and even my college professors would watch it religiously. ~Shaliza

There was a British version of Golden Girls and an American version of Red Dwarf too, but they were both terrible and didn't last past the first season. The Upper Hand was great and lasted long enough for them to get together.
I never liked the Simpsons, Futurama was more my sort of thing and an occasional episode of Family Guy.

My all-time favorite sitcom is hands-down Home Improvement. But I also enjoy Modern Family, Will and Grace, Saved By the Bell, Mike and Molly, The Big Bang Theory, Happy Days, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Family Matters, The Golden Girls and Roseanne.
There are also a few more recent shows I have to mention. (I know Modern Family, Mike and Molly and The Big Bang Theory are all fairly recent, but the shows I want to talk about have only been airing for 2 or 3 seasons.) First up is The Goldbergs. It's similar to The Wonder Years, but instead of taking place in 1960's, this show takes place in the 1980's. Next is Fresh off the Boat. This show is about a Chinese family that moves from Washington DC to Orlando, Florida in 1995. As much as I love The Wonder Years and The Goldbergs, I really relate to Fresh off the Boat. (Maybe not always from an ethnic standpoint. I mean, I'm not Chinese, but I am the child of immigrant parents.) But more so from the standpoint of the time period. I'm a 90's kid, after all. Not to mention, I do actually live in Florida. And I think it's great that the decade in which I grew up is finally being depicted on television, and in such a clever way, I might add. And finally, a show called Moone Boy. It was created by, and stars Chris O' Dowd. (Of Bridesmaids fame.) It originally aired in the UK and Ireland, but in America, it airs on the streaming service Hulu. The show takes place in Ireland during the late 1980's-early 1990's. You might think that time period might be strange setting for a comedy, seeing as it was a rather tumultuous era in Irish history. But show barely touches on "The Troubles," instead focusing on the perspective of a young boy named Martin Moone and the adventures he has with his imaginary best friend, Sean "Caution" Murphy, who is played by Chris O' Dowd himself. The show also touches on the relationship Martin has with his family, as well as his human best friend, his schoolmate Padraic. (For those of you who have never heard that name, it's pronounced "Poor-Ick.")
So those are just some of my favorite comedies. I'll add more if I think of them.

BIG. BANG. THEORY. is my all time favorite sitcom. It may just fall into my all time fav tv show.
I also loved Friends. The Big Bang Theory is the only tv show I really watch now as far as current sitcoms go.
I loved Boy Meets World growing up as well.
