I saw this thread in another forum, and I think it would be fun one to have here. Basically this is the place to talk about the last movie you saw, and what you thought of it. I guess I get to do the honors... The last movie I saw was The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel this past spring. It was awesome, even though I think the first one will always be my favorite. Who's next? ~Shaliza

I saw Minions two days ago. XD It was a really cute movie, and it was pretty funny. I need to track down the Despicable Me movies now.

I saw Inside Out again a few days ago with my Mom. She was curious about it, and I wanted to see it again, so we made a day of it.
I want to see Minions too, I hope I get around to it soon. I saw the first Despicable Me but not the second one. But I think Minions can stand alone, right?

^ That sounds interesting. Another movie to add to my bucket list, methinks. The last movie I saw was A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff. I don't have it on DVD, but only on VHS, and being in the mood for a modern day Cinderella, I felt the need to watch it. It's a cute movie, and always makes me smile. ~Shaliza

I watched Earth to ECHO... it's a sci-film along the lines of ET but filmed as if by one of the characters. It's not bad, it definitely had it's moments but I wasn't blown away. I think style of filming detracts from it somewhat.

I finally got the chance to see the latest Tinkerbell movie, Legend of the Never Beast. I enjoyed it very much, even though I wanted to cry at the end. ~Shaliza

I got the chance to see Ricki and the Flash starring Meryl Streep today. It was bittersweet, but very well done. Major props to Meryl for another excellent acting job. ~Shaliza

Ricki and the Flash. Rick Springfield is also my favorite musician so it was a win, win for me.

I saw a funny Israeli movie called "Operation Grandma." It's a comedy about 3 brothers who go through hell to arrange their Grandmother's funeral, with a series of embarrassing mishaps on the way.

This sounds like a hilarious movie. I will have to add it to my watch list. I never saw Good Will Hunting, but I heard it was excellent. Feel free to make a thread for it in the Drama movies forum. The last movie I saw was Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond and Maria Friedman. I have the DVD, and loved it so much that I sent my mom a copy of it too. We both enjoy watching it and humming along with the lovely music. ~Shaliza

Les Miserables. I read the book not long ago, and then I rented the 2012 movie. It's really good, and the music is beautiful.

^ Yeah, Les Mis is a wonderful musical, and I would love to see it live. I've not seen the movie yet, but I have it on my watch list. BTW, Disney, I made a thread for Les Mis in the Opera House, so feel free to check it out and post your favorite songs, performers and such in there. The last movie I saw was Kiki's Delivery Service. It's a cute 1989 Japanese animated film by Studio Ghibli that is affiliated with Disney Studios. It's the story of Kiki, a witch in training, and her black cat Jiji. It's a sweet story with beautiful animation. ~Shaliza
