Sima Vaknin Is A Witch. It's an Israeli comedy about a woman named Sima (Played by Tiki Daian) who curses her landlord when he gives her trouble, but when bad things really begin to happen to him, everyone believes Sima is a witch, and want her to curse people they hate for them. Her family decides then to start a business of her curses. Absolutely hilarious. LOL! This sounds awesome! Am definitely going to add this to my Must See movie list! ~Shaliza

Avihah's Summer. It's another Israeli movie. Very beautiful, but also very sad. It's based on the book by Gilla Almagore, who also produced the movie and plays in it. It's about a 10 year old girl named Avihah (this is the book that made the name popular- it means "Her Father"), whose mother is a Holocaust surviver and suffers from mental trouble, and the summer Avihah spends with her when she takes her home from her boarding school. The story takes place in 1951, when many Holocaust survivers were arriving in Israel, and Avihah is convinced one of them, a married man with a daughter, is actually her father, whom she has never met because he was lost in the war. The story is basically a series of episodes Avihah goes through until her mother relapses. It's one of the few cases I've seen the movie is better than the book, probably because Gilla Almagore is an actress rather than a writer. She plays Avihah's mother in the movie.

The Boy
Some may not agree but I found it pretty creepy. there were scenes that made my jaw drop, unexpected twists, a good psychological horror if you ask me

The last movie I saw in the theaters was Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice. I saw it on Friday, the day it opened in America. The last movie I watched at home on DVD was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which I watched last night. In fact, I seem to get the urge to watch that particular Indiana Jones movie on a weekly basis, pretty much. And I started doing so right after I saw Star Wars: The Force Awakens for the second time. I honestly have know idea how TFA reignited my interest in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Warm Bodies... a zombie love story. Gross, funny, unlikely but strangely sweet HEA. I loved it.

I saw Disney and Spielberg's The BFG yesterday and Finding Dory today. The BFG was cute with great special effects, but I much preferred Finding Dory. I will talk more about this in The Cartoon Cove. ~Shaliza

I also saw Finding Dory almost a week ago, I absolutely love it.
I also saw Frenzy last Friday. I rented it from a DVD library. It's creepy, but very well done. It's a Hitchcock movie about a sex criminal who strangles women with a necktie, but unfortunately the police is chasing the wrong man.
