Avery Molek has been drumming since he was two years old. He's 12 now and has a vast number of videos on YouTube charting his progress. He broke his arm when he was 7 and used the opportunity to play one-handed. No stopping some people!!!
He has appeared on television and has performed live with some well-known personalities. Here he is with Ozzy Osbourne, performing Crazy Train.
WARNING: It is next to impossible to stop Ozzy swearing, although it was apparently accomplished once, when Ozzy played for the Queen, and practiced speaking without swearing in front of a mirror for several hours. Unfortunately, this time, he was not able to stop himself, and there is some profanity at the end of the video.

I'm loving these clips of talented kids, thanks for sharing Kevin
Glad you are enjoying them. I have a few left. Some years ago, I was quite active on YouTube and was contacted by several young musicians. It saddened me to watch them achieving so much and then giving up, so I try to bring these talents to as wide an audience as possible.
"Mind-blowing. How can a 4 year old have possibly had enough time to perform like that? Thank you, foxy"
He must be a savant, they pick things up naturally, notice there were music sheets but he wasn't even looking at them. He plays with the passion of someone who has lived for many years too. He reminds me of David Helfgott, the savant pianist who was featured in the movie 'Shine'
Since ABBA seems to be popular amongst members of this forum, here's Chiquitita, sung by the Vienna Boys Choir. The history of this choir is worth digging into. It has existed for centuries and currently numbers nearly 100 boys with treble and alto voices, split into 4 separate choirs.
Here's a group which sadly no longer exists. It's inevitable, I suppose, that boys' voices have a short life, but that's life.
This group, in the short time they existed, managed to release 3 albums. When the boys' voices broke, they left but the 3 girls went on to release another album called Irlande, sung mostly in English, as I recall.
Here is Vox Angeli with Coldplay's "The Scientist" which, I have to admit, I didn't know. I thought the original performer was Aimee Mann, and it was during a YouTube search for her version that I found them. Aimee Mann, by the way, was the singer with 'Til Tuesday and appeared on the Rush album "Hold Your Fire" where she contributed backing vocals to a couple tracks.
Here they are again, on French television, with "Si seulement je pouvais lui manquer"
I stand to be corrected, but I believe the original version of this song was performed by a Belgian singer called Calogero.

Shaliza: That's awesome that you have solar power. Next time I move, I hope it's to a small house/condo which has the majority of its electricity from solar power. ::080701b0-80dc-4277-b2fa-85537dc91ccc::

magicmuggle01: Must be great to have a near endless supply of power, and didn't cost a penny in bills (except what was paid to buy equipment).
