What are you watching/streaming lately?
With this craziness we are dealing with -- I am catching up on shows I watch but also streaming a lot of British mysteries as well.

I just started Talespin. Finishing up Father Brown. About halfway through Twilight Zone. Caught up on the latest Antiques Roadshow and Last Man Standing. And tons of movies lol. But I think that's it for TV. Not that I'm not occupying myself with other hobbies during my "vacation", but there's no denying I'm getting in more TV than usual.

Other than some lazy re-watches, and in no particular order:
The Orville
The Boys Good Omens American Gods The Expanse
Stranger Things The Witcher The Umbrella Academy Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency Locke & Key Monkey (New Zealand Remake)
The Servant
Whilst all of these are worth watching, and in some cases REALLY good, I'm not rushing out to buy the DVD's (except The Orville and Good Omens) or even re-watch them for free. I don't know if you've found the same thing but the new era of binge watch programming feels disposable to me, which is a shame. I miss the connection I felt to some shows.
With Grimm over, Supernatural coming to an end, Good Omens being a one off and Star Trek waiting to be put out of its misery, I definitely need something new that sparks my imagination.

I need some ideas not a whole lot left to watch in my favorites. Tomorrow going to search for the Mentalist. If not I may end up renewing my Netflix account.

Just started Monk though cousins recommended it to me while ago. So hilarious and entertaining to have a brilliant detective who is obsessive-compulsive and a germaphobe. I have also watched Good Cop on Netflix also a dramedy by the same writers and enjoyed that other than the fact it was canceled with a cliffhanger.

The Donna Reed Show. It's so wholesome and sweet. Perfect lighthearted fare for uncertain times.

The Donna Reed Show. It's so wholesome and sweet. Perfect lighthearted fare for uncertain times. I actually watched that today. I fell asleep not because of the show just that I was tired.

I'm watching through The Munsters. I love this show. I have since I was a girl. I also love the 60s The Addams Family. On the surface, they might seem the same being about monster families, but the Addams Family is slightly more macabre. They enjoy darker things and loved their creepy lifestyle. It is a wittier show. The Munsters are really at heart just a normal family who happen to be monsters and were doing their best to be a part of American society in their own way. I also found them kinder and the humor is much goofier. The Munsters even mentioned church whereas the Addams were more inclined the other way lol. It's a shame neither show got a very long run, but what we did get was great in my opinion. I am enjoying revisiting the series.
Also, for ideas, if you've never watched it, I recommend The Charmings, which can be found on Youtube. It was a short series from the 80s, but I really enjoyed it. Snow White and her family and a dwarf were put under a curse and wake up in the 80s along with the Evil Queen and they all live together in suburbia America. It's very much a sitcom, but they're them. Like the Prince takes out his sword to fix a car lol. Cute series that had a very short run. I think they would have benefited more if they'd shown the initial waking up . Instead, we sort of got them in the middle of the action.
