This is one of the wittiest and most humorous Disney animated films to date, methinks.
What with Zeus and Hera actually getting along , and Hades being voiced by James Woods who uses sports metaphors for everything, you know you're in for a fun ride from the get go. Add to that the five hilarious muses who narrate the story with flair and great sets of pipes to match... well, these are just a few of the reasons why this is one of my favorite animated films.
This script is too witty for words, and gives rise to some of the most memorable character quotes of all time. Megara (voiced by Susan Egan) has some of the best lines ever!
"Didn't they give you a name with all those rippling pectorals?"
"Well, you know how men are. They think "No" means "Yes" and "Get lost" means "Take me, I'm yours."
"Thanks for everything, Herc. It's been a real slice."
Hades has some terrific lines also and James Woods' voice is just perfect for the role:
"How sentimental. You know, I haven't been this choked up since I got a hunk of moussaka caught in my throat."
"We dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on, we go home happy. What do you say? Come on."
Ahh... I have a stitch in my side from laughing so much!
So who else likes this Disney movie? Get posting your thoughts and have fun!

Yes! I love this movie. It's not talked about enough when Disney movies get brought up. It's hilarious and I feel like it even has some good morals.
Meg is by far one of my favorite female leads. She's sassy, and she can take care of herself as well which I love about her character. Sure, she got herself into some rough patches but overall I really like her character.
Pegsus used to be one of my favorite animated animals in all of Disney as well.
I also tend to like anything to do with the Greek Gods and such.

Hercules is another childhood favorite of mine. It very much parallels the Superman story the way they redid it and is much sweeter than the original, and I've always been fond of stories and myths from other cultures. I thought Hercules was one of the best heroes they had just because he learns what it means to be one. It's not just about doing the good deeds; it's about using your heart and being willing to sacrifice to the point of giving up your own life. I'm also fond of tough characters with a heart of gold underneath like Meg and Phil were (though people like that intimidate me a little in real life lol). And the villains were hilarious. The muses doing gospel style singing just added to the charm of it all for me. One of my favorite moments is when Pain and Panic are enjoying the Hercules merchandise to Hades' vexation. I also loved when the titans were going the wrong way to Mt. Olympus.

Keecha1996: Hello, just popping in to see that everyone is well. I was working on coloring cards for adults, they have detailed butterflies, and flowers. After I have colored them? Then I add sparkly glitter glue to make the colors pop.
