Made of Honor is another romantic comedy that I love. Here's the Wiki page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brave_(2012_film)I know a lot of people were complaining that it was a rip-off of the movie My Best Friend's Wedding (1997) starring Julia Roberts. While I agree that the theme about your best friend getting married is the same, I feel like all similarities end there. I loved Patrick Dempsey in the role of Tom Bailey and Michelle Monaghan as Hannah. Also, Tom's character grows and matures over the course of the movie, unlike Julia Robert's character Julieanne, who was all out to sabotage her best friends wedding and grab him for herself. Her character wasn't very likable at all, the way it was written, but Patrick Dempsey's Tom Bailey was, in my humble opinion. This movie had a lot of heart, and I'm glad it had a happy ending. It makes hopeless romantics like me very happy. Anyhow, who else has seen this, and if so, what did you think? ~Shaliza

^ YAY! I'm so glad you enjoyed it, LouiseX. It was hilarious, especially the way Tom and his guy friends used to play poker and hang out at the gym. I loved the way Hannah and Tom finally made it down the isle as well. ~Shaliza

I liked that too.
I think one of the great things about it as well was that their friends were real friends, there to look out for them. A lot of the time in films one or the other main characters friends are superficial, just to show a contrast with their relationship, that can be fun but it's nice that it wasn't about that.
